These are interviews I have conducted with naval veterans. For some reason, the naval war tends to be viewed as an almost entirely separate conflict to that which was happening on or over land, yet my studies of the War in the Mediterranean, especially, make me think that the war at sea was inextricably linked with the war in the air and on land.
